You Will Need

Step 1First of all get your blu-tac and press on to worktop.
Put a safety pin on to the blu-tac and take a ribbon a poke through the pin and neatly tie a bow.. -
Step 2<-- So it looks like this.
Make sure its tight enough and trim off any longer bits of ribbon.. -
Step 3You can then add beads and more ribbons - up to you!
(Careful, don't put so many on that you can't shut the safety pin again!) -
Step 4Once you like this side of the safety pin flip over(don't use blu-tac this time!)and get the piece of thread and tie a knot on the safety pin and wind around it like this...

Step 5If you would like to wind another thread round it tie a knot and then do the same with the other thread until you reach the end of the pin. Cut off any long threads and...Voila! you have your very own decorative safety pin which you can attach to bags, clothes, hairbands,even make a bracelet out of them which is what I'm doing at the moment! Enjoy making these cool and creative pins, hope you like them! :D
