    Eyeshadow
    Bronzer

    etc. Anything, seriously

  • How to make a lip gloss. Make A Lip Palette - Step 2
    Step 2

To START, take a spoonful of Vaseline and put it in the small, microwave-safe bowl.

    Step 3

Put the same amount of flavoring on top of the Vaseline. I used peanut butter here (It will NOT turn your lips brown, just a clear, shiny color). But you can use just about anything.

    Step 4

FYI, To use a powder, just take the end of a spoon and scrape it off into the container. In this picture, I was using bronzer.

    Step 5

After you have your ingredients in the bowl, microwave for 1 minute. If the mixture still has chunks in it, just stir and they will dissolve. Cation when taking it out of the microwave; it will be hot.

    Step 6

Let the mixture cool for a little and then pour it into a small Dixie cup. READ the NEXT STEP before you do this though.

The height of the liquid should only be about as much as in the picture. Unless you want more product in your palette.

Wait for that to dry. Optional: Put it in the freezer.
Once dry, it should look something like this.

Once dry, cut the top of the cup.

Repeat with 3 other flavor/color/scents of your choice.
    These are mine:
Upper left hand corner: Peanut Butter/clear gloss
Upper right: Matte pink eye shadow/lemon
Lower left: Matte purple eye shadow/vanilla
    Lower right: Sparkly Bronzer/No smell

    Step 13

    Making of the container:
I used an old Band-Aid holder
Use whatever is wide and deep enough to hold the colors of lip gloss.

    Step 14

Use newspaper or decorative paper (or a picture of something) to mod-podge to the front. Cut it out in the shape you need.

    Step 15

Put Mod Podge on the container's surface and lay the paper down. Smooth out the air bubbles and put on a coat of Mod Podge over top of the paper. Let it dry.
I used the WSJ on the front of mine.

    Step 16

Do the same for the inside of the container. Then add some strips of paper where you would like the lip gloss to sit to provide a rougher surface for the adhesive. Make sure not the Mod Podge over top of the two strips of paper.

    Step 17

Add your lip gloss pots with Glue Dots or tape. You can also glue them. However, if you glue them , you cannot change them later on when they run out. I arranged them from lightest to darkest. You can arrange them any way you want.

And you're done! Now you have a customizable lip palette! (This doubles as blush also.) At this point, you could also add a small mirror at the top. By the way, these make awesome gifts. I hope this tutorial wasn't too confusing!
    :)

Ohh so that's what it means. If the peanut butter is grainy won't it be...sticky??

No because it is mixed with Vaseline, which will even it out. It really depends on the brand or type of peanut butter, I think.

This is cool. I may well have to try this. You could also add a little note into the lid to say what they all are.
