A step to step way to make portraits of your loved once!
This is an easy project depending on how well you draw really. I can make portraits in about 20-30 minutes, which looks like the person I'm drawing, but I have had a lot of exercise. So if you are not that skilled an artist, you should start with an more easy going picture. And remember never to give up, cause you can always take your faults and make them better.

Step 1Pick a picture. in this case I chose my best friend. You can always start with someone you don't know, that often makes it easier.

Step 2Start up with just a sketch, this do not have to be exact. do not put to much pressure on your pencil, cause this can leave marks on the paper, which an eraser can't make disappear.

Step 3I always start in the left corner, cause I'm a right hand, and this does that when I start like this I don't ruin the drawing.

Step 4Try to make the eyes look alive, this is one of the most difficult things in a portraits.

Step 5To make the shadows, use your finger to gently make it. remember not to over shadow!

Step 6at the end you can adjust the small faults you made, make the hair look more alive and the shadows perfect.
