I made this using Butterick Pattern #B4366. The outside is a dark magenta corduroy and the inside is lined with a pink and brown flower patterned cotton. This seriously took forever to make! The curves are very very hard to sew! I would only recommend taking this on if you have a lot of patience/experience sewing/or have someone to coach you through it. I whip stitched the lining inside so that you can't see the stitches. Overall, it is very nice and perfect for a cool fall day!

I love wearing hats and this one is absolutely gorgeous. The color combos are stunning.

Ah thank you! If you have been sewing for a while I would recommend the pattern - it is a good one, the curves are just so tricky!!
Also, that is my quilt in the background.. I should post pictures of that project.. hmm..

Thanks Ryden!
I am still working on my sewing skills and don't have a machine, but would really love to make one of these hats (some day).
Definitely post the quilt in the background. It looks warm and WONDERFUL! Still tons of snow where I live--brrrrrrr

amazing hat, the title reminds of me of magenta from the rocky horor picture show
