So after dinner at Chili's I took some of the coasters that they pile up on the tables. I didn't like the way they looked so I decided to redecorate!
-
1
If you're a poor college student, like me, you probably have tons of restaurant coasters lying around. I don't have any regular coasters.
-
2
Grab some magazines and cut out patterns pictures and designs you like! Girly magazines are great cause they have lots of colorful ads. Catalogs would be good too!
-
3
Arrange the images on to the coaster. If it's a big images you can fold the rest over onto the other side and cover both sides! I Mod Podge the images on. You can use glue if you don't have Mod Podge.
Let Dry.

4
After both sides are done I picked the side I liked best for the top and covered that in glitter paint.
-
5
Then I recommend coating the coaster in clear spray paint or varnish to protect it.
And without spending hardly anything you have some cute coasters!
Have you made this project?

@Z@!ra- mod podge glues things, such as paper, together but you need a protective layer to cover so something like varnish or sealer will help protect it. I used the coasters without using a sealer and the water from my glass reactivated the stickiness of the mod podge and stuck to my glass. I ruined a couple of these coasters before I figured out I needed a sealer.
