Step 1Grab some magazines you might have around.

Step 2Cut out desired image.

Step 3Pencil in size of your clipping and cut out the cardboard.

Step 4Glue one side of your cardboard and attach the image.

Step 5Paint the back and sides of your earring.

Step 6Punch a hole with a needle on the very top.

Step 7Take your earring hook and open the bottom with a pair of pliers. Slide in the hook and close it again.

Step 8And then your done!

I walked directly to my stack of magazines and started flipping through and pulling out pages. I think a little polyurethane varnish would make them more durable.

Yeah I agree, I know the earrings I made are definitely not the most durable but there is a lot of wiggle room for improvement.. I'm already making a 2.0 version.
