Magazine Earring Holder ∙ How To on Cut Out + Keep

Turn an cardboard box and some magazines into a funky earring holder!

I needed a way to keep all of my earrings organized and I didn't have any mesh wire, so I came up with this solution.

Sorry about the lack of pictures, but it's very simple.

Instructions

First, choose magazine page or pictures you want to cover the box with.

Cover the box and the box top with your magazine/pictures.

You can do this step by either gluing the pictures on, or wrapping each section (top/bottom) of the box like you would a present, simply leaving one end open.

Take your thumbtack (or if you don't have one, a large sewing needle) and poke holes in your box. These holes are where your earrings are going to go, so space them appropriately!

Push your earrings through the holes!

Studs or earrings with a backing will require you to open the box to take them out/put them back on.

I have found that most of my earrings fit without a problem.
