when cutting my 3/4 inch strips i just folded the sheet of paper in half and used my paper cutter...the fold doesnt show and it helps to keep your figure eight symetrical.

when securing your figure eights i found that the whole bow fits together better if you keep them on the narrower side.

and i didnt even bother with staples or craft glue..i went straight for my glue gun..quick and instantly dried and ready to go. really love this idea...
