I bought the beads on a strand at Walmart. I think they were $3
The keys were from an old keyboard.

I used upholstery thread, but any nice thick thread or cord will do.

I used a dremmel tool to shave down the back posts of the keys and drill holes into them.

I used fimo butterflies and top coat as an accent.

This was a gift for my mom, for Mothers' Day. :)
