brilliant low fat and low calorie dessert made from low fat yoghurt, summer fruits and gelatin. optional to be served on a biscuit or shortcake base.

get a large handful of washed and prepared fruit and in a bowl mash them roughly with the back of a fork. then add to this 250ml yoghurt. your choice of flavour and type - biopot in the uk do a great low fat one which has barely any calories in it if your aiming for fewest cals. mix well.

next get the gelatine and add it to 120ml boiling water and stir until dissolved. stir this mix into the yoghurt mix and put in the fridge allowing around 1 hour to set.

serve as it is, or with accompaniments. pictured is the jelly on a chocolate shortcake base with fresh fruit and icing sugar dusting.
