Loom Beading is expensive to start out - because the loom is definitely the most expensive part of the art. Once you've got the hang of it it is really easy but it is a bit tricky to get the hang of at first.

I have two bead looms that I purchased from Walmart, one's plastic which I have used many times, and a wooden one, which is still it's in box, both about $10 bucks with beads. I figured mine out pretty quickly, but hey...that's me.
Nice piece though.
