I was playing with my mom's scraps, when I found a long, un-usable piece of cloth with symmetrical cut outs. I draped it on myself the way I wanted it, put pins in the middle and hand sewed points where the pins were. I kept doing this, applying more little scraps of this material and sewing small points until my underwear stopped showing. I had to take off and put back on this dress a lot as I was making it.

For the first drape, I hung the longest scrap around my neck so that it looked like a halter top, and I put pins from my chest to my leg.
