Lollipop Pendant Necklace

  1. Step 1

    Step 1

    Start off with two equal sized lumps of different coloured Fimo.

  2. Step 2

    Step 2

    Roll the two lumps out in to a long thin strips with your fingertips.


  3. Step 3

    Step 3

    Take one strip and fold it around and around the over strip, so that the two strips are intertwined.

  4. Step 4

    Step 4

    Roll this out with your fingers, so that the colours flatten in to each other and become one long strip.


  5. Step 5

    Step 5

    Start at one end and curl the strip up so that it creates a winding circle.

  6. Step 6

    Step 6

    Wind it up completely.

  7. Step 7

    Step 7

    Take a lollipop stick and cut it in half.

  8. Step 8

    Step 8

    Push a screw hook in the top of the fimo lolly and then push the lollipop stick up in to the bottom of the lolly.

  9. Step 9

    Step 9

    Remove the plastic lollipop stick carefully, so that it's hole remains intact. Leave the screw hook in place and bake in an oven until hard.

  10. Step 10

    Step 10

    When the lolly has cooled, place some glue on the end of the lollipop stick, place inside the lolly and leave to dry.

  11. Step 11

    Step 11

    Slip on to a chain and it's ready to wear.

i just made these....and then overcooked and burnt them :( boo. anyhow, just a little tip - if you don't have lollipop sticks, you can also use qtips, just cut off the cottony ends on each side.

Love this. Have made them before! You can also use sculptey clay, you can usually buy it at Wal-Mart, Joann fabrics, Michaels...Whatever craft stores you might have locally.
