To keep your eggs warm :)
Here's how to make a lamb egg cosy! You could use the basic pattern then change the colours for different animals....i'm going to try an easter chicky next :)

Made for easter egg hunt for my daughter :)

Abbreviations:

CH = Chain
ST = Stitch
SC = Single Crochet
SC INC = Single Crochet Increase
SC2TOG = Single Crochet 2 together
REP = Repeat

  • Step 1

    *work in rounds for all pieces. Use stitch marker at beginning of each row*

    COSY:

    With white, CH 2.

    R1: Work 4 SC in first CH.

    R2: Work 2 SC in each ST (8 sc)

    R3: *2 SC in next ST, SC in next ST, rep from * (12 sc)

    R4: *2 SC in next ST, SC in each of next 2 STs, rep from * (16 sts)

    R5: *2 SC in next ST, SC in each of next 3 STs, rep from * (20 sts)

    R6: *2 SC in next ST, SC in each of next 4 STs, rep from * (24 sts)

    R7-14: SC in each ST around.

    R15: *SC2TOG, SC in each of next 2 STs, rep from * Fasten off.

  • Step 2

    FACE:

    With Black CH 2.

    R1: Work 6 SC in first CH.

    R2: Work 2 SC in each ST (12 sc)

    R3: *2 SC in next ST, SC in next ST, rep from * (18 sc). Fasten off.

  • Step 3

    EARS (make 2):

    With BLACK CH 2.

    R1: Work 6 SC in first CH.

    R2: Work 2 SC in each st (12 sc). Fasten off.

  • Step 4

    ASSEMBLY:

    * Sew beads to Face for the eyes. With white yarn, embroider a smile for mouth.
    * Sew Face to body.
    * Fold ear circles in half, and sew to cozy. Weave in ends.

  • Step 5

    Place over your egg to keep him warm!! Enjoy!
