Make your own shiney lip gloss with your favourite flavour!

  • Step 1

Instead of using beeswax, use Vaseline. Get the original Vaseline. As any specialty Vaseline has things that you may be allergic to. For example, Vaseline baby. CVS brand also is known for allergic reactions.

Get the amount of Vaseline that you want to turn into lip gloss. It doesn't matter how much Vaseline you use, it just depends on how much lip gloss that you want to make.

  • Step 2

Go to your local grocery store and pick out a Kool Aid packet, but when you do judge two things: flavoring and color.

For the flavoring, you won't exactly be eating it, but just in case you lick your lips you won't be tasting the Vaseline.

For coloring don't pick blue-raspberry because your lips will be blue. Your best bet is Kool Aid that is invisible, but still has flavoring.

  • Step 3

For color, (if the kool Aid does not have any color, and you would like your lip gloss to be colored) chop off a small piece of lip stick, and mix with your Kool Aid/Vasaline mixture. Remember to check for allergies on all items used before making this.

I tried Kool-Aide, the already mixed kind in the big tub. It clumped up sooo bad... not a good idea.<3

I made one this morning. My mom says it is her new favorite lip gloss! It is a little sour (I used unflavored invisible Kool-Aid), so I added a bit of sugar substitute. It was a lot of fun to make
