TERMS:
Single crochet = SC
Half Double Crochet = HDC
Stitch= ST
Chain= Ch
slip stitch = ss
Space = Spc
I found this pattern on another website
but i changed the hook size & used less rounds.
i worked loosely. but not to loose haha.

START HERE: ch 3, join in first ch with a ss

Round 1: Ch 3, work 9 HDC & CH 1
in the loop that was just made.
join in (1st ch of ch 3) with a sc
****be sure to chain 1 after each HDC -
round 2: Ch 3, work Hdc in same spc.
*Hdc ch 1, hdc ch 1*
in each space around.
join in 1st ch with a sc -
round 3&4: Ch 3 , HDC CH 1, in each space around.
join with sc. -
Round 5: Ch 3 HDc, CH1 in same space.
Hdc ch1 in next space.
*Hdc ch1, Hdc ch1 in next space
1 hdc ch1 in next space.*
join with sc -
Round 6-13: CH 3, HDC, CH 1, in each space. Join each round with a single crochet.
***you can keep adding rounds, it depends how deep you want the hat. -
Band:
Round 17: Ch 1, 2 SC in each space around join
Round 18: CH 1, Single crochet in each single crochet around, join. -
your hat should be finished.
