A nice accent for your dining room...and a lot of fun to make!
 <  Image 1 of 3  >

My stepmom made this one for me. She took an old wine bottle and cleaned it. She took string lights (Christmas or holiday lights) and placed them into the bottle keeping the end that plugs into the wall hanging out the top. Then, set on a table with the cord hanging behind the bottle so you can't see it. You could also decorate the bottle but I liked the vintage look of this bottle.

Thats very pretty. Do you think the kind with batteries would fit in there?

That looks gorgeous, much nicer than wine bottles with candles stuck in the top - even though those are cool too!

^_^ I've made a few of this before... Only I use a glass drill bit and cute a little hole in the back for the core. But this way sounds a lot easier. There are so many fun things you can do with a wine bottle <3

and the lights don't hurt the bottle at all? Or vice versa?
