First of all find an old light bulb. The ones shaped like ovals look best. Next select the colours of glitter glue you want to use. It's best to decide on a colour scheme for your tree before you start. I picked silver, pink and purple.
Tie a length of wire around the screw of the bulbs a few times ensuring that it is tight and secure. Twist together and leave a loop for hooking on to your tree.
Draw pretty patterns on to the bulb using the glitter glue.
The glue will take about half an hour to dry. It's best to hang it on to a branch of your tree where it can dry without being disturbed.

here's an idea... if you use small bulbs, perhaps they can be turned into festive holiday earrings? Haven't tried it or anything. just a thought. :)
