A happy little bulb that shines even when the power is out.
A friend of mine was going through a rough patch and I thought she could use a little bit of extra light for when things were especially dark. I found this fabulous knitted lightbulb pattern and away I went. This was my first project knit entirely on double points and the first knitted amigurumi-like thing I've made.

I love the pattern by Kate Jeffery (link above), not only because it was easy to follow, but also because there are so many ways to personalize the light bulbs with variations on eyes, mouth, colors, etc.

I love when people randomly give gifts to other people going through rough times. Its guarenteed to make them smile. Happy Its real cute.
