Legwarmers are becoming very trendry (so are many other things from the 80's) and they can also be a dip in the pocket, so why spend money on them when you can make them yourself?!

First you're going to need to have a sweater.
I used one of my stepdad's old XXL sweaters. -
Depending on how long your legs (calves) cut the sleeves. Since I'm really short, I didn't use a lot of the sleeve.

Then all you have to do is stitch up the edges or whatever and slide them on!
I had to fit mine so they wouldn't slide off of my legs. You can also use elastic as well to keep them up. -
You can use buttons, lace and ribbons to decorate the legwarmers as well, but I kept mine simple.
