Legwarmers!

Stellar legwarmers!

Legwarmers are becoming very trendry (so are many other things from the 80's) and they can also be a dip in the pocket, so why spend money on them when you can make them yourself?!

First you're going to need to have a sweater.
I used one of my stepdad's old XXL sweaters.
Depending on how long your legs (calves) cut the sleeves. Since I'm really short, I didn't use a lot of the sleeve.
Then all you have to do is stitch up the edges or whatever and slide them on!

I had to fit mine so they wouldn't slide off of my legs. You can also use elastic as well to keep them up.
You can use buttons, lace and ribbons to decorate the legwarmers as well, but I kept mine simple.

I have stack of too-small jumpers this will be a really cool ay to get rid of them ad will save me some money cuz my leg warmers are all holey and ick.

I've made the same sort a little while ago but I made them into arm warmers.
I want some legwarmers anyway so i'm definantly going to make some! :]

Damn it, I just threw a black sweater away that would have been perfect for this. I love them worn over jeans, that photo alone is fashion inspriring.
