I have been seeing lot of tassels in bag and jewelry so i wanted to try to do one for my bag. got so into it so i made few more and made a necklace out of one too and i love it. I used pieces of left ower leather and chain s from old broken jewelry. u can also use a piece of leather or a ribbon instead of the chain, just use uÂ´r imagination. This is my first tutorial so please let me know how u like it. :)

Instructions

First take uÂ´r leather and cut it in to a rectangle. U can do in in any size u want . just make other sides a bit shorter that the other two.

My chain already had this bigger loop on it but if u want u can add one to uÂ´rs

Mark a strait line to uÂ´r piece along the longer side. this line is only there to mark for u where to cut. Cut mall stand of leather all the way . Mine werenÂ´t totally even but it still looks fine to me.

After uÂ´r done whit the cutting take uÂ´r chain and clue it to the other end of the piece.

Add more glue to the uncut end of the piece and start makig a tight roll. start the rollig from the chain end so that u seal the chain inside the roll. wipe of the excess glue.

UÂ´r roll shoud look like this. cut the extra chain hangig from the bottom (if u have any) and uÂ´r done. now u have a leather tassel to do what u will.
