Alligator mittens that can be made for kids and adults. They're the coolest!
 <  Image 1 of 3  >

I had made these for my best friend for her birthday last year and had yarn leftover and decided to make the kid's size for my cousin's daughter. The pattern is from Debbie Stoller's Stitch'N Bitch Nation. They're a lot of fun to make, but I am still searching for sew-on googly eyes as opposed to the flat-backed ones I hot glued on. If anyone knows where to find those, let me know. The time it takes to make these really depends on how fast you knit, I'm not really sure how long it took me, but probably longer than most.

Aww, I like them. Did it really only take four hours? You must be a really fast knitter.

they probably took me longer...but since i spread it out over a few days because of work and other holiday stuff going on at the time, i wasn't sure how long to put...some people could probably make them in less time...it really depends on your knitting skills :)
