Can't read my, Can't read my, No he can't read my poker face!
I made this mask for my aunt who is gaga for Gaga! She wore it last Halloween for a masquerade ball. It took a long time to make because I could only put so many on at a time and then had to wait for them to dry. I also had to cut some of the mirror pieces myself. The picture doesn't do it justice, it looks a lot better and cleaner in person. There are some things I would do differently if i make it again.... and I think I will, but other than me being my own worst critic, it is almost perfect. I love replicas :)

This is really cool. I know your aunt loved it.

I saw t-shirt project once that used old and broken cds. Might be lighter and safer than glass. (I'm scared of broken glass).

Thanks for sharing.

If you search Glass Cutting in YouTube you can get some pretty good tutorials for it... but you kinda have to feel around for how you wanna do it and what is the most comfortable... As for the Base i used a really cheap flimsy mask from any party or craft store and cut the eyes and outside to the exact shape i wanted. The base needs to be able to move though because it cannot stay that flat and smooth.
