Knitting Markers

How to knit without having to think too much

Having problems remembering where to increase or decrease? I used these when I knitted my warm felted slippers (see my other projects) so I could just knit without thinking and counting.

The knitting markers slip right onto your knitting needles. When you reach a marker you know it's time to inc/dec or whatever else you should do at that point. Just be careful about whether you place it before or after the stich in question. The placing depends on the pattern and what you are doing at that point, and if you place it wrong it may have moved in relation to the pattern on the next round... But when used right they are a great help!

Thanks! I made them ages ago and have found them very useful. Your button keychains are fantastic though, I'm going to try making some markers that way too.
