Two in one!
I was in the middle of a hat and decided the rim of the hat would make a better kneck warmer, so I casted off instead and created this!

Note: this is a 5 color pattern (A,B,C,D,E) but color B doesn't really show up and just adds a slight border from the reddish color. . So if you'd like to leave it out, just use A instead.

    Using circular needle (about size 7ish),CO 76 sts with color A and join in the round (careful not to twist). Place stitch marker.

    R1-10: Knit in color A
    R11-12: Purl in color A
    R13-14: Knit in color B
    R15-19: Knit in color C
    R16: Knit in color D
    R17: Knit in color A
    R18: Knit in color E
    R19: Knit in color A
    R20: Knit in color D
    R21-25: Knit in color C
    R26-27: Knit in color B
    R280-29: Purl in color A
    R30-39: Knit in color A

    Weave in ends.

That's looking really cosy even though it's too hot to move over here. I'm gonna try this on my loom (am not a fan of knitting needles, they get in the way). Thanks for posting!
