I did mine with clear shrink plastic and traced the font through with a fine point sharpie, then sprayed clear paint on top.

the tag says "Cooky or Joe" - in case y'all were wondering :P my cat has two names - he's so confused! I have a feeling if he happens to get out and someone finds him, they'll be asking for Cooky or Joe when they call, though!
