I'm a first year Uni student, and I'm living away from home for the first time, which can be tough sometimes (mostly it's just heaps of fun, though). I've always been really keen on animals, and my family has always had pet cats. One of the hard things for me about being away from home is not having my little kitties around. Luckily, I anticipated this, and cunningly yet lovingly sewed myself up a little cat to keep on my bed at uni. I made up my own pattern, and used fabric from the op-shop. His name is Samson. I think he's pretty cool. He is looking a little worse for wear, though. I'll have to fix him up soon.

I a cat cushion with my young cousin a while back, too. Same basic pattern, but we added pockets and a big "Q" on the cat's chest (my cousin's name is Quinn :D ) He was very happy with it, and it now lives on is bed and is quite happy.

Also, I apologize for the rubbish photo quality. I do not have particularly good lighting in my little dorm room.
