Dont like your platform boots anymore? Make them into shoes!!
I had a pair of platform ankle boots that did not go with anything so i thought why not make them into shoes so i can wear them with dresses :)

This is also pretty awesome if you buy boots that are to tight on the leg.
Im not sure how to go about doing it with boots that have zips in :/

I made these pretty amature no measurements etc as it was my first time cutting up shoes, they are not finnished yet as i need to re-glue and put on an ankle band made of ribbon and skull fabric.

  • Step 1

Grab your boot and pop it on your foot. Draw an outline of the shoe shape you want, take off and cut.

Do the same on the other boot.

  • Step 2

Now you should have raw edge shoes :)
Take some textured ribbed ribbon (or strong hemming tape etc) and glue over the raw edges folding inside.

  • Step 3

Take your old sudded belt and unpick the studs or just buy some new studs :)

  • Step 4

Press them in the shoes in any way you want!

  • Step 5

Im adding an ankle strap to these.
Take some more ribbon and fold two little loops and glue them to the back of the shoes then thread your ribbon and fabric through them and tie in a big bow at the front of you foot :D
