Keyboard Ring
Turn an old unused keyboard in to a geeky accessory.
Add to a List Add to Favorites Add Your Version

Start of with a keyboard key and a ring base that will fit the key nicely.

The key will normally have a large bit of plastic on the bottom. Break this off.
-
The best way to do it is by twisting it with pliers until it breaks off. Be careful not to break the actual key.

Cover the base with glue.
-
Stick the key on to the ring base. Easy.

yea bout the ring bases in jelery shops I looked in beadzone (shiv and my local bead shop) and they only have round ones that don't fit

Nice - I got a couple of old keyboards that I was going to give to charity - I think I might just pull of the keys off now and try making some rings instead. Great recycling idea.
