cute star decorations I made for xmas
I wanted to make something xmassy, so I made the green star with purple thread. Then I decided that it lacked something so I added it's face :)
Then I made the yellow one from a different template and blanket stitch in red thread. I embroidered the face first before stuffing the yellow star.
I took 3x6 strands of embroidery thread and plaited them to make the loop for the yellow star which I glued on with fabric glue.
The yellow star is up for sale in my etsy shop now!

Step 1
I drew a star shape on the felt, cut it out, flipped it over and cut another one out. Somehow no matter if I use a template or freehand it they never seem to match up.
I sewed the two sides together and stuffed it. Later I added the face as it seemed bland and just a star. -
Step 2
Later I made the yellow one and contrasted it with red thread and a blanket stitch as it is decorative. I decided to give it something to hang by but I didn't have any yellow ribbon so I plaited/braided some embroidery thread and glued it on the back.
