When you need money at hand...erm... ear!
Got some old gift cards lying around? Make them into these fabulous earrings! It's super simple. My one suggestion? Don't use real credit cards! We wouldn't want any identity theft now would we?

  • How to make a set of gift card earrings. Ka Ching Earrings - Step 1
    Step 1

    - Take the jewel you are using. (The jewels I have are from an old shirt. I pulled them all off before tossing the top) along with a jewelry loop (I couldn't think of a better name for these - if you know what they are actually called, please let me know! - they're pretty much the loops that you get when you purchase a package of bracelet/necklace clasps). Fit the jewlry loop through one of the holes in the gem.

    - Next grab the earring hook and work the jewelry loop (if that's even what it is called!) through it so that the hook is attached to the jewel

    - Grab a strand of thread and work it through the hole in the credit card as well as the bottom of the gem and tie it off.
