Super quick and easy journal from a folder

A nice and easy way to reuse all of your old school folders and give them new life! Sorry if some of the pictures aren't great...

You Will Need

Project Cost
Almost Nothing

  1. Step 1 1

Get all of the stuff you need. It's easier if your not always running around in the middle of a project when you forget something.

  2. Step 2 2

Cut your folder in half. This will give you the front and back of your journal.

  3. Step 3 3

Tape the sides of the pockets so that when you put papers in, they won't fall out. I only did the sides of the folder but if your cut was messy you could use pretty tape down the whole side for a nicer look.

  4. Step 4 4

Next collect the paper that will be in your journal. You can use anything from scrapbook, magazine, recycled worksheets, or even homemade paper. The possibilities are endless!

  5. Step 5 5

Hole Punch all of the paper. Make sure the hole punch you use has the same kind of holes as on the folder. As in they're in the same place.

  6. Step 6 6

All thats left is to tie it all together with the string you have. That is also a thing that doesn't matter. I used embroidery floss scraps I had lying around but it's totally up to you.

  7. Step 7 7

Now it's all done! Go and journal it up my fellow crafters! :D
