Inspired by Jil Sander's Leica Gingham Medi Pencil Skirt only cheaper and convertible!
This Jil Sander skirt was on net-a-porter for $980! So I had to make the decision to pay my bills or get a skirt...
Obviously I made the right decision and paid my bills AND made a super awesome skirt that looks much like the one I lusted for online, and it also doubles as a dress! Take that!
And it gets even better! Mine only cost a tiny fraction of that $980 price tag at a mere $4.25. I bought the material the other day for $4, it is so soft and nicely textured! Then the elastic I bought at a thrift store for .25 cents. I already had the belt from a previous thrift store purchase, and the top is a simply vera vera wang that I already had that looks very similar to the one featured on net-a-porter.

Not too shabby for my first dress/maxi skirt. :)
