Recycled Jellyfish Badge
Really quick and easy badges made from little material.

The jellyfish heads on my badges turned out at about 1-2cm tall. Then the legs were roughly the same.

  • Step 1

Take some recycled plastic. See the link below if you are unsure how to recycle your plastic bags.

  • Step 2

Cut felt to shape/ size. I cut my felt to a semi circle shape.

Also cut plastic to the full shape of the Jellyfish, legs and all.
(Just pin felt to plastic and cut around, making sure you have enough to shape the legs out of)

  • Step 3

Sew the brooch back to one of the semi circled of felt.

  • Step 4

Then cut the leg shapes from the bottom of the plastic.

Pin the two felt semi circles to the top head shape of the plastic.

Sew around the edges in blanket stitch (or however you want!)
    Contrasting thread works well)

Then finish off the jellyfish faces with sequins , embroidery, stick on eyes or whatever takes your fancy!

I used sequins to imitate dots that my fictional jellyfish have :D

    good luck!
