So, my awesome new roommate just got back from visiting her Japanese relatives in California and brought me back a SUPER cute bento box. I immediately set to work making an elastic band to hold it closed, and a bag to carry it to class with. I figured the Japanese knot bags I remembered seeing here a while ago would be perfect to keep my food neat while biking to campus and walking between classes. Now I just need to make a napkin roll for the chopsticks I got while studying in China. This is yet another project in my thing-a-day personal challenge.
