Styling Tips: 1. Try this project with a pair of brown boots too! The originals by Isabel Marant even come in camouflage!
Gather materials and plug in your glue gun.
Measure fringe alongside your boot.
Cut 2-3 strips of fringe per boot. You want a layered/extra fluffy fringe effect!
Prepare to glue fringe onto your boot. Make sure your boot is at a good angle so it's not too tough to glue it on!
Be careful with the hot glue! Also, keep a straight line! If you mess up, don't worry, fringe is funky and covers up most mistakes for you!
After gluing down the first piece of fringe, glue down the second piece about an inch above. This will give the fringe more body!
Fringe is on!
Now take 2 yards of chain and wrap around as much as you can. We used 2 yards on each boot, but it's up to you!
Now grab your garbage twistie tie, connect the two ending chain links. Loop it and twist it! Now cut off leftovers and fold into the loop.
Don't you just love when household materials come in handy!
