Step 1
If you're a dark lipstick lover like me, you know that winter is the perfect time to wear them to compliment dark layered outfits and cold weather. When summer rolls around though, they tend to sit on standby to the side. Instead of putting them on the bench, make them into summer colors by mixing in some of NYX's Jumbo Eyeshadow Pencil in the color "Milk"!
Step 2
What I do is first put a layer of NYX's "Milk" down on my lips. I then add small dabs of my dark lipstick on top, and blend with a lip brush until I get my desired light color!
Step 3
In this example, I used Wet N' Wild's lipstick in "Ravin' Raisin". On the left is the lipstick normally, on the right is the lipstick blended with "Milk".
