My current project in textiles is 'Historical, Vintage and Recycled fashion' and so I took this painting by Jean Auguste Dominique Ingres and did my very best to copy the pattern on the dress with the limited colour scheme machine embroidery threads I had. It took me about 4 hours. I can hardly stand to look at it now.
