Flip over from top to bottom.
Fold in half. Unfold to reveal white side.
Fold the top and the bottom in to meet at the center crease.
Fold the top half back along the existing crease.
Fold the left side up, using the pattern as a guide.
Repeat step 5 with the other side.
Bring the two flaps back down, and unfold along the center. This will return you to the same position as step 4.
Reinforce the folds that lie along the center diamond shape. Then bring all four corners up to form the heart shape. This action will also cause the bottom diamond shape to invert, forming the base of the heart.
Spread apart the sides. Fold the four corners inward, using the pattern as a guide.
Fold the top four edges inward. Then place double-sided tape behind the two halves of the heart to hold them together.
Five ways to show your love:
- Do what you promised to do!
- Fold an origami heart!
