How To-sday - Ikura Sushi Birthday Cake

Friday was Marion's birthday, so I had to make a pretty phenomenal cake. I wanted to make an owl cake but had a last minute change of heart and went with sushi. I Googled for ideas but found only tons of cakes with lots of little sushis on them, so I decided to design my own and share the process with you guys {& I better not see this on Cake Wrecks!!!}:

I realized later that this requires Jello (gelatin = crushed animal bones)...& i'm vegetarian (& so is my b-day friend). gross.
I did a quick search online & found this recipe for veggie/vegan jello!! :)

4 tablespoons agar agar flakes
1 quart fruit juice
-Bring to a boil, simmer for 5 min.
-Pour into a dish, (add fruit if u like). And chill
