This was the free top I got with my Mindless Self Indulgence - If CD. It was a size medium men's tshirt - not big enough to wear as a dress, but not small enough to be flattering.
I cut the sleeves, neck and hem off, basically turning it into a big rectangle, then I sewed the sides in to my size. Then just got one piece of ribbon and attached it to each side so it holds at the back of my neck. Easy-peasy! And still holds together, even though it's hand sewn.

Yeaah it's really easy to do! Just cut it up and keep trying it on, pinning it and sewing it until you get it right. And the great thing with tshirts is they're stretchy, so if you get it a bit too small it'll still go on
