This iced tea is flavored with rose syrup and homegrown herbs, mint and lemon balm. You can find rose syrup at an Indian or Asian market.
1
Snip and gently rinse and dry about 20 large leaves of mixture of mint and lemon balm leaves.
Brew a pot, or about 1/2 gallon, of tea. Allow the tea to cool for about 15 minutes. The tea should still be very warm.
Add the cooled tea to a one (1) gallon pitcher.
3
Add 3-4 tablespoons of rose syrup to the warm tea. Use a whisk to blend.
4
Add the remaining half gallon of tap cool water to the tea and rose mixture. Add the mint and lemon balm and mix gently.
5
Chill the tea in the refrigerator. Serve over ice.
