How to turn a colour image into a back and white(greyscale image)

  1. Step 1

    Step 1

    locate the image you want to change to BW.

    File>open

  2. Step 2

    Step 2

    now the image is open go to

    Image>mode>greyscale


  3. Step 3

    Step 3

    now its in Greyscale, but its not done yet.

    Use the level tool to add depth.

    Image>adjustments>LEVELS

    In levels drag the bar to make the image darker or lighter.

  4. Step 4

    Step 4

    now save. You have now made a black and white image.
