How to carve a pumpkin (mini poumpkin that is)

ok here is a somewhat ok picture of my pumpkin. I was going to just paint a face on him but whats the fun in that... unless ur gonna make a pumpkin pie out of it later then thats ok.... lol k so i hope you get your pumpkin carving on cause this is going to be a great halloween.

PS when using the knife if your under the age of 14 please have a adult near by to make sure you dont get hurt. thanks

ok heres the supplies you need to carve your pumpkin. i used a shoe box lid to set my pumpkin on so the pumpkin seeds and goo wont get all over the place.
first take the knife and cut the top of your pumpkin out. when you got it cut pull hard on the stem to get the core out then cut off the core.

scoop out all the seeds and goo be sure to get the sides really well.
then mark out your pumpkins face then start cutting it out (needs adult supervision if under 14)

and here is my pumpkin. the tops a little loopy but still good.

TIP: if you dont want your pumpkin to start burning please use a small enough candle to be placed in side the pumkin. or one of those battery powered ones.
