Create fun beachy jewelry using stuffy thrift store pearls!
Thrift stores always have strands of old pearls laying around, usually for pretty cheap. With a little hemp twine and some jewelry findings, you can re-imagine those pearls into something completely new!

    Time to grab that stuffy strand of thrift store pearls and re-imagine it as a whimsical, summery piece of new jewelry.

    Cut six or seven long strands of hemp cord. Fold over one end and wrap tightly with jewelry wire so that the ends are hidden. This "loop" of strands will be used for one half of your clasp.

    Then just randomly add pearls on your strands and knot the cord snugly against each pearl.

    When you've reached a desired length for your wrist or neck, make another loop of the strands and wind tightly with the jewelry wire. Add a jump ring to each loop and attach your clasp...Done!
