How To Repair Dreads

• 

  Step 1

  Gather all the hair thats sticking out of the dread.

• 

  Step 2

  Stick the crochet needle through the dread near the gathered hair.

• 

  Step 3

  Twine the hair around the crochet needle.

• 

  Step 4

  Carefully start pulling the needle out of the dread.

• 

  Step 5

  Pull it all the way out and untwine the hair from the needle.

• 

  Step 6

  Now the hair is on the other side of the dread.

• 

  Step 7

  Keep doing the same thing until the little hair is gone and you have a nice repaired dread.
  I need 2-3 hours to do my whole head after washing or coloring it.

I do my brother dreads, and i use this kind of tecnique in his natural hair... we never use chemicals and his dreads look really great
