An easy and effective way to create customized stickers.
Staples Sticker Paper is perfect for crafts because the images are sharp and retain vibrant color with it's matte finish. They are relatively cheap and come with 30 sheets of sticker paper! Though they are not waterproof.

The images used in this tutorial were created by me.

  • How to make a sticker. How To Make Your Own Stickers - Step 1
    Step 1

The first step is to find an image for this project.

I used an owl sketch I created a few years ago.

Then I basically colored the owl in Photoshop multiple times and created a pink, purple, and blue owl.

    Step 3

I like to print many images on my pages to get the most out of the sticker paper.

You can do this by creating a new image in Photoshop and then copy and paste your artwork multiple times to the new image opened.

(Though, I am positive there are easier ways now. I just can't outgrow my Paint Shop Pro 7 haha.)

Before you print, set your images to "FIT TO PAGE" in the Page Setup or Printer Settings.

This will keep all images centered and prevent them for printing off the sticker paper.

The last step. Cut out your stickers!

    Wasn't that easy?!

Shipping labels are like a half sheet of stickers. After using one half, set the second half to feed in first. Large mailer labels are good for printing out just one or two stickers. These labels have an online template you can load onto your computer, like address labels, so after you print and peel label one in column one, move down column one to label two. You just delete contents on 1/1 and type in an X so you remember not to use it. When you print, only one label will be printed on. Save your template changes until you need to print again. Then just feed it in as usual. One label sheet can last a long time if you do not need to do this often. Susie, Port Huron, Michigan, USA
