You Will Need

    Get any decorative piece of ribbon any size (but the longer the ribbon the prettier the rose will look in the end)

    Fold the piece of ribbon in 1/2.

    Open it out and fold a small triangle on one of the sides you made with a crease.

    fold the other side over the triangle.

    fold the other piece of ribbon, continue doing this until you reach the end.
    it is like making a spring.

    when you have got to the end hold on to the end piece grab onto one of the pieces and pull it down the other piece of ribbon

    keep pulling don't worry this is creating the petals

    when you have finished pulling turn the rose around to see your creation but keep on holding on to the two pieces of ribbon

    to secure the rose you can glue it together or you can use the two pieces of ribbon at the end and tie a double knot

    you can make lots of these roses and you can use them in your art projects like putting them on your note book or they can make a handy hair clip.
