Boil some water with plenty of soap or shampoo.

Tear the top wool to equal parts. Don’t use scissors.

Roll the dry top wool into a ball.

Wet it in the hot water with soap (don’t scald your hand!).

Roll the bead on the towel, pressing it slightly. The towel will absorb the water and soap.

When the bead is smooth and hard, rinse it with cold water and let dry.

Dry beads may be freely used in making jewelry.
