Chinese lantern
This was actually my first time embroidering. I think it came out pretty nice.

    First you get a piece of fabric and your embroidery hoop.

    Unscrew the screw to release the little hoop. Then you put the piece of fabric on the little hoop and then put the big hoop over and push it in well. the you tighten the screw.

    Once you have it all together make the fabric stiff.

    Then copy on the picture you want on to the fabric.

    The thread had six strings but I only used two. Then you start embroidering from the bottom. I used the split stitch.

    Then you add on different colors to make it beautiful.

    I decided to use one of Sublime Stitching patterns from Chinatown.
